


LYCS Presents “Tracing the City” in Design Shanghai 2013 Exhibition.
“Design Shanghai 2013”recently opened in Power Station of Art. The opening ceremony included a ribbon-cutting ceremony in the morning, a design conference in the afternoon and a guests dinner at night. The exhibition consisted of six themed sections: City of Counter light, City of Craft Design, City of Interface, Night Time – Dream Real, Tracing the City, and Film City. It's by far the longest and largest exhibition with the most works be exhibited in China
The biennale was first opened in 2000 and has been held for six times successfully. It is committed to create a professional, innovative and leading biennial of contemporary art and design. It has become one of most influential activity in terms of culture and art in Shanghai . The theme of Design Shanghai 2013 Exhibition is “Aesthetic City”, it aims to promote a bright vision that "Design makes a creative life, aesthetics constructs an ideal city. " The exhibition shows an idea of the new designs and living concepts through many innovative and inspirational design cases.
RUAN Hao, as one of the the curator's organized and planned one of the six exhibitions -"Tracing the City". As the youngest curators, RUAN Hao and the team at LYCS presented the audience with an exhibition with great sense of rhythm and exploration by his ability of observing and controlling as an architect .
