In December, 2020 IIDA Best of Asia Pacific Design Awards winners list was announced. A total of 17 projects received category awards. Linhai Yufengli designed by LYCS Architecture won the Best Design Award in the category of "Hotels".

IIDA was founded in 1994 as the result of a merger of the Institute of Business Designers (IBD); the International Society of Interior Designers (ISID); and the Council of Federal Interior Designers (CFID). The goal of the merger was to create an international association with a united mission that would represent interior designers worldwide. Now in its 8th year, IIDA Best of Asia Pacific Design Awards is one of the most influential events in the industry, with the aim of identifying and honoring the most outstanding and innovative interior design and architecture projects in the Asia-Pacific region.
