The Main Structure of Hangzhou No.2 School of Future Sci-Tech City Has been Completed
Recently, the main structure of Hangzhou No.2 School of Future Sci-Tech City, designed by LYCS Architecture, has been completed. The 15 buildings are appearing, with featured pitched roofs. It will be put to use in next September.
Located in the Future Sci-Tech City in Hangzhou, the project design avoids the spatial concentration mode of normal school buildings, which differ from the uniform and solemn schools. 15 buildings with pitched roofs are distributed in the sufficient space occupying 8000 sqm. In addition, in contract to the normal school building, the buildings with differently colored cladding and varied scales, establish the close relationship between students and the school. As a result, it looks cozy and friendly, like an ideal school built by children themselves.
Location: Hangzhou
Project Period: Design 2015-2016, Construction 2017-2018
