The interior construction of ’Qinglongwu in Reminiscence’ Resort Hotel designed by LYCS Architecture is nearly completed. The project mainly involves reconstruction. Namely, the traditional building in Tonglu county is rebuilt into new resident accommodation. The designers shall integrate new functions (like transparent glass, metal frame) into original space features (like timberwork, rammed-earth wall) on the premise that the original appearance of the traditional buildings is remained as much as possible. When buildings and interior spaces are located in the traditional villages surrounded by the natural landscape, they are expected to be thriving among the mixture of old and new elements.
