LYCS Architecture Wins 2015 A+Awards the "Jury Winner and Popular Choice Winner" of Educational Design

Recently, the globally well-known design prize A+Awards ceremony was held at High line Stage in New York.

The project "Tian Tai No.2 Primary School" designed by LYCS ARCHITECTURE successfully won two prizes: Jury Winner and Popular Choice Winner, for its extraordinarily effective design for solving the problem of land shortage in the old city. It is worth mentioning that this project was one of the few that simultaneously won two awards.

A+Awards, sponsored by the largest architectural media Architizer and co-hosted by the international well-known media such as the Wall Street Journal and USA today, is regarded as one of the most globally influential design awards. The organizers advocate for cooperation and crossover. Moreover, it encourages designers to subvert the stereotype and provide the practicing experience as guiding examples.

This year, the organizers invited more than 300 representatives such as Rem Koolhaas, Liz, Diller, David Rockwell, who master in architecture, design and art as judges. About 1200 projects from more than 100 countries were compared and appraised. The winners this year includes firms such as Gensler, SOM and BIG.
